Eagles Sweep Team Regatta Against Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Boston College swept Connecticut College over the weekend in the Thames River Team Race as the Eagles earned first, second and third place overall out of six total racing teams.

Boston College's first team of skippers Robert Hunter, Colleen O'Brien and Jack DeNatale and crew Nicole Moeder, Laura Ferraris and Elizabeth Russell posted a 10-0 record in two full round robins.

BC's third team went 7-3 overall, while the second team was 6-4.

The Eagles host Stanford, Tulane, Connecticut College, Roger Williams and Coast Guard in the BC Team Race on Friday (April 2) and Saturday (April 3) at the Savin Hill Yacht Club in Dorchester. Members of the team will also compete at Salve Regina in Newport, Rhode Island on Saturday.
