Eagles Take Fifth at NEISA Open Team Race Championships

Team finishes with an 8-10 record

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College Sailing team competed in one regatta over Easter weekend, sailing at the NEISA Open Team Race Championships at Brown. They finished in fifth place overall with an 8-10 record.

The Eagles opened the two-day event with a 5-6 record, holding sixth place overall with wins over Tufts, Yale, Bowdoin, URI, and Connecticut College.

In Round Two, BC finished 3-4 to move into fifth place, adding wins against the Coast Guard and hosts Brown.

Next week, the Eagles are set to race in three regattas, starting with the Thompson Team Race and Oberg Trophy on April 11-12. They then compete in the Central Series 4 on April 12
