
Gillespie Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following her first two career starts, freshman goalkeeper Emily Gillespie has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week.
Gillespie went 2-0 on the week, defeating Northeastern and No. 2 Louisville, making five total saves for a .625 save percentage.
The highlight of the week was helping BC to a shutout win over Louisville, making four saves.
Syracuse's Pleun Lammers and Wake Forest's Hannah Maxwell earned a share of the ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
BC is back in action Friday, April 2 at Virginia at 2 p.m.
