Eagles Post First Win at Home Over Merrimack 6-1

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College defeated Merrimack by a score of 6-1 at the Margot Connell Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon for its first win of the spring season.
BC improved to 1-6 (0-6 ACC) while Merrimack dropped to 2-5 (1-0 NEC).
Doubles match wins behind Max Motlagh and Sean Mullins at No. 1 and Santiago Montufar and Max Mendelsohn at No. 3 propelled BC toward the opening point.
Five Eagles registered singles victories today with three of them, Mendelsohn, Shreekar Eedara and Will Kasten, winning in straight sets. Mullins took his third set 6-3 in first singles, while Motlagh won a superbreaker in second singles.
Boston College looks to keep the momentum going as it takes on Siena on Sunday (March 28) at 6 p.m. in Latham, New York.
