ABOUT ULBANY
• The Great Danes enter Thursday's contest at 3-3-0 and on a two-game winning streak ... the team was last in action on March 21, earning a 2-1 overtime win at UMBC.
• UAlbany has also picked up wins at Vermont (2-0) and against Maine (2-0).
• Jasmine Colbert leads UAlbany with three goals on the year while Olivia Piraino has two goals ... Jada Colbert and Sahara Zingano both have one goal and one assist.
• Goalkeeper Sophia Chen has started the last five games for the Great Danes ... she has a 1.39 goals against average, 0.682 save percentage and two shutouts.
• UAlbany was picked to finish third in the 2021 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• Head coach Leigh Howard is in her first season at the helm of the Great Danes

• Boston College holds a record of 1-0-0 in the all-time series with UAlbany.
• The one previous meeting between the Eagles and Great Danes came on Aug. 23, 2018 in Newton ... the Eagles picked up the 5-0 win.
• The Eagles are 40-18-6 all-time against current America East schools.

LAST TIME OUT
• Boston College hosted Rhode Island on March 21, falling in overtime by a 3-2 score.
• The Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute on Michela Agresti's first career goal ... after URI equalized in the 71st minute, Nye Day's first career goal but BC back up in the 85th minute ... the Rams, though, forced overtime with an 88th minute strike and won it three minutes in to the extra time.
• Goalkeeper Mackenzie Egan made her first collegiate start, making five saves in the loss ... Becca McCourt also made her first career start, playing 82 minutes.
• Jenna Bike led all players on the day with three shots on goal.

FALL REWIND
• The Eagles played an eight-game ACC schedule in the fall of 2020, going 1-7-0 with a mark of 1-3-0 on the road and 0-4-0 in Newton.
• The schedule saw the Eagles open up with three consecutive roads games and it featured three ranked teams.
• In the final road game of the fall, BC earned a 3-1 road win at Syracuse on Oct. 22.
• Jenna Bike led the Eagles with six points on three goals while Emily Knous and Sam Smith had four points each ... Knous scored two goals while Smith had one goal and two assists.
• Michela Agresti and Samantha Agresti played all 725 minutes of the fall season for BC.
• In goal, Allie Augur started all eight games going 1-7-0 with a 0.673 save percentage, 2.31 goals against average and 37 saves.

2020-21 CAPTAINS
• The Eagles are led by the trio of Jenna Bike, Jillian Jennings and Mia Karras in 2020-21.
• All three players are first-year captains.
• Bike, who missed the 2019 season due to injury, was named to the United Soccer Coaches Association DI All-Region team as a junior ... she enters her final season on the Heights having appeared in 57 contests with 56 starts while notching 10 goals and 10 assists.
• Karras played in all 18 contests for the Eagles in 2019, a career-high, while making 16 starts and logging the third-most minutes among field players with 1,434 ... she recorded one goal and two assists and will enter her senior season with two goals and two assists.
• Jennings enters her senior season having appeared in all 58 games that BC has played over the last three years ... she has logged over 3,500 minutes for the Eagles while also recording eight assists and one goal ... in 2019, she started all 18 contests and recorded three assists ... her older sister Kayla Jennings was a two-year captain for BC.

ABOUT HEAD COACH JASON LOWE
• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA in 2002.

• Both Michela Agresti and Nye Day notched their first career goals in BC's game against Rhode Island on March 21, 2021.
• Laura Gouvin scored her first career goal - and first career game-winning goal - in BC's win at Syracuse on Oct. 22, 2020 ... BC now has two players on the roster who scored the game-winning goal with their first collegiate goal in Gouvin and Sam Smith.
• Gouvin's first collegiate point came with an assist at Pitt on Oct. 8, 2020.
• Jenna Bike attempted and converted her first career penalty kick in BC's 3-1 win at Syracuse on Oct. 22, 2020.
• Day earned her first collegiate point with an assist on Laura Gouvin's goal at Syracuse on Oct. 22, 2020.
