CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Boston College fencing team closed out the 2021 ACC Fencing Championships on Sunday at North Carolina's Carmichael Arena with the team competitions.

The BC men's side defeated Duke, 14-13, to go 1-1 in the round robin. Since Notre Dame did not participate in the tournament and both UNC and Duke finished 1-1 the teams went to a tiebreaker round. Duke defeated BC, 2-1, and then topped UNC, 2-1, to earn the team title. Both the men and women wound up with third-place finishes.
