
Eagles Perform Well at Army West Point

The Eagles featured victories in three events and the 4x400m relay
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College women's indoor track & field team competed against Army West Point in a dual meet at the Gillis Field House.
The Eagles featured victories in three events and the 4x400m relay.
Marne Sullivan won the 800m in a time of 2:15.19, while BC went 1-2-3 in the 1,000m. Maureen Lewin clocked 2:54.67 for the 1K, followed by Weronika Lewin (2:58.44) and Emily Kane (2:58.67).
The Eagles also posted the top three finishers - and four of the top five - in the 3,000m. Kylee Raftis cruised to the win in a time of 9:48.35. Caroline McClelland (10:06.96) was second, followed by Katherine DeLoreto (10:10.01). Haleigh Morales (10:21.34) was fifth, while Ella Whitman was ninth (10:39.35).
The quartet of Anna Cleary (61), Marne Sullivan (58.34), Sarah Heckel (60), and Kyla Krawczyk (67) took first place in a time of 4:06.73. BC's B squad of Hannah Ceva (62), Katherine Mitchell (62), Sophia Schwartz (67), and Lila Belsher (76) was second in a time of 4:28.90.
Anna Cleary finished second in the 400m, in a time of 59.15. Kyla Krawczyk (59.39) was third, while Hannah Ceva was sixth (1:02.32).
Katherine Mitchell was second in the 500m (1:19.22).
Jessica Creedon was third (9.20) and Morgan Halt fourth (9.58) in the 60m hurdles. Creedon and Halt, along with Lila Belsher, also competed in the high jump. Creedon finished third, clearing a height of 1.60m (5'3"). Halt went over the bar at 5'1", finishing fifth while Belsher was seventh (4'9").
Creedon, Halt, and Isabella Bruno were 2-3-4 in the long jump. Creedon registered a mark of 5.22m (17'1.5"), while Halt landed a 5.09m (16'8.5") jump. Bruno was fourth, with a leap of 5.07m (16'7.75"). Hannah Ceva was sixth (4.73m / 15'6..25"). In the triple jump, Bruno registered a mark of 10.83m (35'6.5"), good for fourth place.
Sophia Schwartz was fourth in the 60m (8.45), followed by Cleary in fifth (8.46). In the 200m, Kyla Krawczyk was sixth (27.22) while Schwartz was 10th (29.15).
Next for Boston College is the 2021 ACC Championship, held at Clemson on Feb. 26-27.
