The Battle of Comm Ave is slated for a 2 p.m. puck drop on Friday at Kelley Rink before a 4:30 p.m. tilt on Saturday at Walter Brown Arena. Both contests will be shown live on NESN+, and the games will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.

WHAT'S ON TAP
• Boston College and Boston University will renew the Battle of Comm Ave this weekend with a home-and-home series ... the teams will meet on Friday at Kelley Rink and on Saturday at Walter Brown Arena.
• Friday will mark the 61st meeting between the two teams as varsity squads ... both teams hold a record of 5-5-0 over the last 10 meetings … five of the last 10 tilts have been decided by one goal or less.
• The Terriers took last year's Hockey East series with a 2-1-0 mark and then added a 4-0 win in the first round of the Beanpot Tournament.
• The game will feature two of the hottest penalty kill units in the nation, as BC has killed 24 consecutive penalties and BU has killed 22 straight ... the Terriers sit first in the country with a 96.6 killing percentage.
ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE
• BC enters the series with BU at 13-3-0 ... the Eagles played a single game last weekend, earning a 2-1 overtime win over No. 10 Providence on Friday, Feb. 12 at Kelley Rink.
• Kelly Browne and Savannah Norcross are tied for the team lead in points with 18 each, a number which also places them ninth in the country ... the Eagles have had 13 different goal scorers while seven players have at least 10 points each.
• Norcross has a team-high 10 goals, which also ranks second in Hockey East and fifth in the nation.
• Browne has 12 assists and six goals while also sitting sixth in the nation with 200 face-off wins ... the captain is also tied for fourth in the country with six multi-point games this year.
• Hadley Hartmetz is tied for second nationally among defenders in scoring with 13 points on one goal and 12 helpers, with her assists tying for first in the conference and second nationally among blue liners ... additionally she has been on the ice for 27 even-strength goals, which ranks second nationally among all players.
• Abigail Levy is 5-1-0 with a 1.13 goals against average, .962 save percentage and one shutout ... Maddy McArthur is 5-1-0 with a .921 save percentage and 2.55 goals against average ... Kelly Pickreign has gone 3-1-0 in net with a 1.76 goals against average and .927 save percentage.
ABOUT BOSTON UNIVERSITY
• After a two-game split with Vermont last weekend, BU enters the Battle of Comm Ave at 5-4-0 overall ... the Terriers fell in the first game, 4-0, and then rallied for a 4-1 victory the next day ... Jesse Compher earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors for her three-point outing in the win, scoring twice and adding an assist.
• Compher (5-3-8) and Courtney Correia (2-6-8) lead the Terriers with eight points each ... Compher has fired a team-high 28 shots on goal and is winning 58.6 percent of her draws ... BU has 12 players total with multiple points.
• BU went 24-8-4 overall and 18-6-3 in Hockey East during the 2019-20 season and returned 17 letter winners for the 2020-21 season ... BU was tabbed second in this year's Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll.

• The Boston College junior class has combined for 27 goals and 34 assists for 61 points, second most among all junior classes ... BC's Class of 2022 has scored 10 game-winning goals, the most of any team's class year in the country.

• Maegan Beres is fourth in the country and first in Hockey East for blocks by a forward with 23.

• BC has scored the first goal of the game in 11 of its 16 contests, which ranks third in the country.
• The Eagles have five different players with multi-goal games ... BC's players have registered 25 multi-point games this year, sixth most in the country.

CAPTAIN KELLY
• Through the first 16 games of the season, Kelly Browne has racked up 18 points on six goals and 12 assists ... her 18 points tie for fourth in Hockey East.
• The captain sits sixth in the country with 200 face-off wins while her 63.1 winning percentage is third among players with at least 200 wins.
• She started the season with a career-long six-game point streak and has points in 11 of 16 contests.
• Browne was named the Hockey East Player of the Week on Dec. 7 for a three goal, one assist weekend against UConn.
• In a 17 face-off win performance against Providence on Feb. 12, Browne reached 1,000 for her career, making her the first player to reach 1,000 career face-off wins as a junior since Alex Carpenter '16 did it during her 2014-15 junior season.
• Browne's single-game career high for wins is 21, coming in a 3-3 tie with Maine on Oct. 26, 2019.
• Through her first 150 face offs this season, she had a 62 percent winning rate, marking the best percentage for a BC player through the first 150 faceoffs since Alex Carpenter won 69 percent during the 2015-16 season.
• Earlier this season, Browne became the 33rd player in program history to reach 75 career points ... she has 30 goals and 50 assists as an Eagle.
• Browne recorded 36 points on 13 goals and 23 assists a season ago while earning Hockey East Third Team All-Star honors.
THE NORCROSS NOTE
• Savannah Norcross has put up 18 points on 10 goals and eight assists so far in her junior season.
• Her team-high 10 goals rank second in Hockey East and fifth in the nation.
• Norcross started the year with a career-long six-game point streak ... she opened the season with a career-high three assist game at New Hampshire on Nov. 20 and then reeled off a three-game goal scoring streak.
• She has scored three game-winning goals and assisted on four other game-winning goals this year.
• Norcross recorded the first multi-goal game of her career and the first short-handed goal of her career with a 2-0-0 live at UConn on Jan. 31.
• She has tallied five multi-point outings on the year and now has nine in her career.
• She has at least one point in 12 of BC's 16 games.
• Her eight helpers mark a career-high this season ... the Lynn, Mass. native picked up right where she left off last year, as she recorded career highs in points (17), goals (11) and assists (6) as a sophomore.
GOALIE WORLD
• Abigail Levy (5-1-0), Maddy McArthur (5-1-0) and Kelly Pickreign (3-1-0) have each registered at least three wins in goal for BC this season, making it the only team in the country to have three goaltenders with multiple wins.
• BC is also the only team in the country to have two goaltenders with five wins.
• Both McArthur (Dec. 7) and Levy (Feb. 15) have earned Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week honors this season.
• The trio of juniors has combined to limit opponents to a scoring rate of 1.87 goals per game.
• Levy posted BC's first shutout since Oct. 29, 2019 with a 33-save performance at UConn on Jan. 31 ... her .962 save percentage ranks third in the nation while her 1.13 goals against average is fourth.
FEY THE FORWARD
• After playing her first two seasons primarily on the blue line for BC, Jillian Fey now finds herself as a center.
• The junior has already recorded a career-high 10 points on a career-high six goals and four assists.
• Fey's three game-winning goals is tied for the team lead ... she's also assisted on one winner.
• Fey has 32 shots on goal so far this season ... she recorded 30 shots on goal in each of her first two seasons as an Eagle.
• Last season, Fey put up seven points on two goals and five helpers ... as a freshman, she had three points on one goal and two assists.
• Over the last three seasons, BC has gone 8-1-0 when Fey records a goal and 16-2-0 when she has at least one point.
