Eagles on the road at Virginia Tech Friday at 2 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College volleyball is on the road for a pair of matches this weekend at Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The action begins Friday at 2 p.m. against the Hokies on ACC Network. The Eagles' final regular season road match is against the Demon Deacons on Sunday at 1 p.m.

About the Eagles...
BCÂ is 15-14 overall, 5-10 in the ACC and ranked No. 86 in this week's (11/15) NCAA RPI report following a four-set win over Duke. The Eagles have won two out of three, beginning with a 3-1 win at Virginia. Graduate outside hitter Clare Naughton leads the BC attack with 3.32 kills per set to go with 2.30 digs per set. Graduate middle blocker Amaka Chukwujekwu is hitting a team-high .335 with 2.05 kills per set and 0.81 blocks per set. Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Jensen is up to 2.40 kills per set. Junior right side Izzy Clavenna is third on the team with 2.13 kills per set on a .275 attack rate.Â

The 1,000-Kill Club...
With her first kill of the afternoon against Wake Forest (10/3), Clare Naughton became the 10th player in BC history to reach 1,000 career kills. She passed former teammate Cat Balido (982 kills - 2016-19) for 10th all-time in the Eagles' win over Virginia Tech. Naughton became the first player at BC to reach the 1,000-kill mark since Katty Workman (2012-15), the program's all-time leader at 1,689. She currently (11/10) ranks seventh with 1,119; 23 behind Amy Laurence (1,142 - 1994-97) for sixth.

Maki Blocks...
Amaka Chukwujekwu started the season fourth all-time in total blocks at BC and has since moved into second with 447. She trails Kristen Roberts (1992-95) at 451 for the program record. Chukwujekwu entered the season tied for the BC record in block assists at 308 with Krystie Higgins (2009-12) and is now up to 372.

Double-Double Machine...
Clare Naughton recorded four consecutive double-doubles beginning against Northeastern (9/7) and through the Jack Kaiser Classic at St. John's. She has totaled a career-high 10 double-doubles on the season and 18 for her career, which is tied for the eighth most in program history.

Dig & Pass...
Sophomore libero Anna Murphy is fifth in the ACC with 3.93 dig per set. She notched a career-high 27 at Bryant (9/4) and has surpassed 20 digs on seven occasions, including 26 in a five-set win over Virginia Tech. Murphy added 10 assists against the Hokies for her first career double-double.

Boston College has won four in a row against Virginia Tech; trailing the all-time series 11-18. The Eagles trailed two sets to won before claiming the fourth and narrowly winning the fifth, 15-13. BC fell to Wake Forest in five last month and trails the all-time series 11-16.
