BC Hosts No. 5 UNC in Pink Card Match

The Eagles will host the fifth-ranked Tar Heels on Sunday in the second annual Pink Card Match.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will host No. 5 North Carolina on Sunday at the Newton Campus Soccer Field. The conference clash will air live on ACC Network.

The game will mark BC's second annual Pink Card Match for breast cancer awareness. The team's pink game-worn pink jerseys from the game against UNC will be off, with the proceeds going to support the Mass General Brigham Auerbach Breast Center.

• The Tar Heels enter Sunday's contest with an overall mark of 9-1-2 and a mark of 2-1-2 in ACC play.
• UNC last played on Thursday night at Pitt, coming away with a 1-0 win over the Panthers.
• Emily Murphy leads UNC in scoring with 12 points on four goals and four assists in nine games played ... Emily Colton has a team-leading five goals ... eight Tar Heels have recorded at least two goals each.

• The lone Eagles' win in the series came in 2010, with BC topping UNC, 3-2, in Chapel Hill ... a then fourth-ranked BC squad took down top-ranked UNC behind goals from Kristie Mewis, Alaina Beyar and Victoria DiMartino.
