No. 6/8 Northeastern Tops No. 4/5 Eagles at Kelley Rink

Hannah Bilka had one point and one assist in the loss while Abigail Levy had a career-high 47 saves.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 6/8 Northeastern Huskies came out on top of the No. 4/5 Boston College women's hockey team, 4-2, in a battle of top-10 teams on Friday night at Kelley Rink.
The Huskies took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission and then added a third goal in the second period. After a fourth Northeastern goal in the third period, the Eagles then clawed back. Hannah Bilka scored once and then Kelly Browne popped home a power-play goal but the Huskies held off the rest of the BC attack.

- 1st, 10:10 | 0-1, NU GOAL: Maddie Mills carried the puck over the blue line on the left side and cut in to fire a shot. Mills then finished her own rebound at the left post.
- 1st, 17:35 | 0-2, NU GOAL: After Tess Ward forced a turnover at the hashmarks and carried the puck to the crease, Peyton Anderson muscled it into the net.
- 2nd, 16:11 | 0-3, NU GOAL: Off the draw on the power-play, Mills fed Brooke Hobson at the top of the left circle and she worked quickly for a shooting lane and wristed a shot into the upper corner.
- 3rd, 11:56 | 0-4, NU GOAL: Mia Browne got the puck below the goal line and then carried it into the right circle before turning and firing a shot near-post and over Abigail Levy's shoulder.
- 3rd, 12:13 | 1-4, BC GOAL: Maddie Crowley-Cahill's point shot was deflected in the slot and landed on Hannah Bilka's stick for a finish off the left post.
- 3rd, 16:42 | 2-4, BC GOAL: On the power play, Bilka picked the puck up at the bottom of the left circle and walked up the boards before sending a pass across the zone to Kelly Browne for a finish at the left post.
- Northeastern had the 51-23 lead in shots on goal … both teams went 1-for-3 in power-play opportunities.
- Boston College now holds an overall mark of 46-44-7 all-time against Northeastern … the Eagles are 19-19-4 at home against the Huskies … head coach Katie Crowley is now 37-16-4 all-time against Northeastern.
- Goaltender Abigail Levy finished with a career-high 47 saves … she made at least 14 saves in each period.
- Hannah Bilka registered her second consecutive multi-point game … it was the 15th multi-point game of her career ... she extended her point streak to four games.
- This marked the first time ever that Boston College has lost when Bilka scores a goal … the Eagles are now 17-1-1 all-time when she scores.
- Kelly Browne extended her point streak to four games.
- Maddie Crowley-Cahill registered her first point of the season with her assist.
- Sidney Fess and Keri Clougherty both finished with a game-high four blocked shots.
