The Huskies scored twice on the power play in the 3-0 win.
BOSTON – The No. 6/8 Northeastern topped the No. 4/5 Boston College women's hockey team, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Matthews arena.
After a scoreless first period that saw the Eagles out-shoot the Huskies, 12-9, Northeastern found the back of the net twice in the middle frame. Northeastern then added an insurance goal midway through the third period.

- 2nd, 6:49 | 0-1, NU GOAL: Working a 5-on-3, Maddie Mills deked Abigail Levy off the right post and then stuffed it inside and over the line.
- 2nd, 19:49 | 0-2, NU GOAL: Skylar Fontaine took a shot from the point that deflected off of a defender then off of Chloe Aurard and waffled into the upper right corner.
- 3rd, 10:33 | 0-3, BC GOAL: Lauren MacInnis got the puck on the boards at the hashmarks and then cut towards goal before backhanding a high shot into the upper left corner.
- Northeastern had the 38-23 lead in shots on goal … Northeastern went 2-for-7 on the power play while BC was 0-for-4.
- Boston College now holds an overall mark of 46-45-7 all-time against Northeastern … the Eagles are now 20-21-2 on the road against the Huskies … head coach Katie Crowley is now 37-17-4 all-time against Northeastern.
- Goaltender Abigail Levy finished with 35 saves for Boston College … it's the seventh time this season that Levy has made 30-or-more saves in a game.
- This marked the first time this season that Boston College was shutout.
- Hannah Bilka led BC on the day with four shots on goal … she had her point streak snapped at four games.
