Tigers Top Eagles in Newton

Clemson scored three first-half goals in the 4-1 win.
NEWTON, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team fell to Clemson, 4-1, on Thursday night at the Newton Campus Soccer Field.
Before the game, the Eagles honored the three graduating seniors – Megan Crevoiserat, Alison Heckman and Emily Knous – and four graduate students – Jenna Bike, Mia Karras, Abby McNamara and Haley Thomas.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 4' | Makenna Morris sent a ball in from the left flank to the top of the box, and Caroline Conti controlled it and fired a shot to the near side of the goal.
- 7' | Samantha Agresti picked off a deflected ball and
- 13' | Renee Guion sent in a corner kick to the far post. Megan Bornkamp headed it back to the middle of the goal mouth for Conte to deflect home.
- 20' | From the right edge of the box, Conte sent a ball back towards the penalty spot and Renee Lyles flicked it into the net with her left foot.
- 57' | Bornkamp sent her penalty kick attempt into the left, lower corner of the goal.
- Clemson had the 13-6 lead in shots … Boston College had the 5-4 lead in corner kicks.
- The Eagles are now 8-7-1 in the all-time series with Clemson, including a mark of 4-3-1 in Newton.
- Samantha Agresti scored her fourth goal of the season.
- Goalkeeper Wiebke Willebrandt finished with two saves in 45 minutes of action.
- Goalkeeper Mackenzie Egan made her first appearance of the season … she finished with two saves in her 45 minutes of play.
- Jenna Bike played in her 89th career game … the two-year captain finishes her career tied for sixth all-time in program history in games played with Kristie Mewis and Kelly Henderson.
- Megan Crevoiserat, Alison Heckman, Emily Knous, Bike, Mia Karras, Abby McNamara and Haley Thomas all played their final game on the Heights.
