
Eagles Fall to Georgia Tech in Three Sets

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College Volleyball was swept by Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon in Power Gym. BC falls to 13-11, while GT improves to 17-3.
The Yellow Jackets took sets one and two by scores of 25-20 and 25-13, respectively. The Eagles fought back in set three taking an early lead, but the Yellow Jackets rallied back at the end to take the set 26-24 to win the match.
Katrina Jensen led the Eagles with nine kills. Clare Naughton tallied seven kills, and Jenna Pollock had 6. Georgia Tech's two highest scorers were Mariana Brambilla with a match-high of 20, and Julia Bergmann with 16.
The Yellow Jackets outhit the Eagles .298 to .237. The Eagles had seven blocks as a team, with Amaka Chukwujekwu accounting for 4.
The Eagles will travel down to Tallahassee, FL to take on Florida State on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. on ACC Network.
