
Eagles Swept By Seminoles

Clavenna & Chukwujekwu Tally 7 Kills Each
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Boston College Volleyball was swept by Florida State on Friday evening in Tully Gym. The Eagles drop to 13-12, and the Seminoles improve to 15-5.
Set one was a back and forth battle until FSU pulled away towards the end. Sets two and three were dominated by the Seminoles, who were led by Skye Ekes' 13 kills.
Izzy Clavenna and Amaka Chukwujekwu both had seven kills for the Eagles, followed by Katrina Jensen's six and Clare Naughton's five. Grace Penn tallied 14 assists, and libero Anna Murphy had 12 digs.
The Seminoles outhit the Eagles .303 to .117. FSU also out-blocked BC, 7-4.
The Eagles will continue their tour of the Sunshine State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. when they take on University of Miami in Coral Gables.
