Eagles, Black Bears Set to Meet at Kelley Rink on Saturday

BC will host Maine in a single game on Saturday afternoon.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 4/5 Boston College women's hockey team will host the University of Maine for a single game on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Kelley Rink. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m., and the game will stream live on College SportsLive.

• In Friday's game, Jillian Fey put BC up 1-0 in the second and then Kelly Browne took just 13 seconds to respond to a UNH equalizer in the third with her first goal and game-winner of the season ... Abigail Levy made 30 saves for the win.
• On Saturday, UNH took a 2-0 lead early in the second period but BC scored three unanswered for the 3-2 comeback win ... Abby Newhook got the Eagles on the board late in the second and then Willow Corson equalized 30 seconds later ... Newhook then scored her first career game-winning goal with under four minutes to play ... Levy made 22 saves for the win.
• The comeback win marked the first time BC has come back from a two-goal deficit to win since a 7-5 win over Vermont on Jan. 17, 2020.

• Browne scored her fifth career game-winning goal in BC's 2-1 home-opening win over UNH on Oct. 15, 2021.
• As a junior in 2020-21, Browne tied for the team lead in scoring with 21 points off of seven goals and 14 assists and was named a Hockey East First Team All-Star … her 14 assists led the team, ranked fourth in Hockey East and tied for 10th in the nation while her 11 primary assists tied for second most in Hockey East and fifth in the country.
