Kickoff Time Set for BC Football Opener at Duke

Eagles and Blue Devils to meet at noon on Sept. 19
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced kickoff times and networks for the first two weeks of the 2020 season. Boston College opens the year on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Duke with a noon kickoff.

ACC Regional Sports Networks in the conference's television footprint will carry the game. Detailed information on channel listings will be available the week of the game.

Under first-year head coach Jeff Hafley, BC returns nine starters on defense, five starters on offense, including four of five All-ACC selections on the offensive line from a season ago. In addition, the Eagles return their starting kicker, punter and long snapper on special teams from 2019.

The opener versus Duke marks the first game against the Blue Devils since 2015 in a series that began in 1927. BC leads the series 4-3.

The game at Duke will be held without spectators. Contests played on Duke's campus will include essential game management personnel and broadcast media. Traditional parking lots used by fans on game day will be closed.
