Boston College Signs with Gait Lacrosse
August 28, 2020 | Lacrosse
Altamont, N.Y. (August 20, 2020) – Boston College has signed a multi-year equipment deal with Gait Lacrosse. The Eagles will take the field in the spring of 2021 using the latest in Gait Lacrosse equipment.Â
Â
The agreement will provide Gait hard goods to the NCAA Division 1 student-athletes for the opportunity to utilize the innovative brand.
Â
"I am so excited to be working with Gait. I think their products are first class and the company's genuineness in their support and care for what we need and want makes all the difference," said Boston College Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Acacia Walker. "I believe they'll take care of our student-athletes which is really all I care about. I know my girls will be equipped with what they need to win and I know they will be happy."
Â
Gait Lacrosse, a collaboration between lacrosse legends and brothers, Gary and Paul Gait, launched last fall. The company has a full line of women's lacrosse gear (heads, handles, gloves and eyewear) and men's lacrosse heads, handles and gloves.Â
Â
"We are thrilled to add Boston College Women's Lacrosse to the stable of elite programs we have recently partnered with," said Gait Lacrosse co-owner Paul Gait. "Acacia and her staff have skyrocketed through the NCAA field appearing in each NCAA Championship game in the last 3 years. Acacia's track record as a player and a coach is quite impressive. As a Maryland girl at heart, she has played under, and coached with, several of our elite coaches and has found her own path to greatness. We are proud to partner with BC Women's Lacrosse and look forward to seeing what great things they achieve this upcoming season."
