10 Eagles Add to Record Books at ACC Championship

The women's swim and dive team capped its season in Greensboro
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Boston College women's swim and dive team wrapped up its 2019-20 campaign at the ACC Championship meet this weekend, as 10 Eagles etched their name into the BC record books over the four-day meet.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The relay team of Maura Grimes, Taylor Covington, Victoria Lin and Haley Dolan earned the first record of the meet, combining for a 1:40.17 finish in the 200 yard medley relay for a program-best.
- Grimes continued with a 24.95 performance in the 50 yard backstroke, becoming the first woman in program history to earn a sub-25.00 finish.
- Ali Kea, Lindsey Ryalls, Sophia Miller and Kristina Fecarotta finished the 800 yard freestyle relay with a program-best 7:26.71. Ryalls' 1:51.18 split marked a personal best for the freshman.
- Dolan marked a program-best with a 23.07 finish in the 50 yard freestyle. She broke that record the following day, putting up a 22.78 finish in the same event.
- Sofia Zinis, Dolan, Kea and Ashleigh Scott lowered their own record by a full second with a 1:31.43 finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
- Lin lowered her own record with a 54.90 finish in the 100 yard butterfly. She also reset her own record in the 200 yard butterfly, finishing in 2:01.17.
- Kea put up a 1:50.93 finish in the 200 yard freestyle, lowering her previous school record by .9 seconds. She also topped the program record set in 2014 in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing in 50.55.
