Rowing Hosts Junior Day on March 16

BC women's rowing welcomes future Eagles to campus.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College rowing team will host a "Junior Day" on Monday, March 16, 2020. First-year head coach Grace Hollowell and her staff will welcome high school junior with an interest in rowing at the collegiate level to campus.
The event begins at 9:15 a.m. and features a campus tour, a tour of the Harry Parker Boathouse on the Charles River, and an overview of the recruiting process. There will also be a meet-and-greet with Hollowell and her staff as well as a Q&A session with the coaches and current student-athletes. Guests are also invited to attend the Eagles' practice that afternoon. The event concludes at 3:15 p.m.

Rowing at BC
The BC Women have been a traditional rowing presence for the past 30 years, competing first as a club before transitioning to a varsity sport in 1999. Since then BC has won numerous medals at Eastern Sprints, Big East Championships, Head of the Charles, and several international regattas. Now a part of the Atlantic Coast Conference, student-athletes at BC have the opportunity to compete at one of the highest levels of rowing in one of the sport's most iconic locations.
