Eagles Trek to Maine for Two-Game Series

BC will face the Black Bears for two Hockey East contests, playing Friday and Saturday at Alfond Arena.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team will make the trip to Maine this for a key two-game Hockey East series. The Eagles and Black Bears will face off on Friday and Saturday at Alfond Arena. Both games are set for a 2 p.m. puck drop.

BC and Maine played to a 3-3 overtime tie back in the first meeting of the year in October, and the Eagles carry a seven-game unbeaten streak against the Black Bears into the weekend. The Eagles last played on Tuesday night against No. 10 Harvard, skating to a 3-1 win the Beanpot Tournament consolation game. Maine is coming off of a 1-0-1 weekend at Providence in which four different players scored and Carly Jackson stopped 76 of 79 shots.
