Eagles Set to Face Merrimack and Brown

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Eagles are preparing to host Merrimack on Sunday (Feb. 16) at 12 p.m. in the Margot Connell Recreation Center. BC then travels to Brown on Tuesday (Feb. 18) to play in the Pizzitola Sports Center at 4 p.m. in Providence against the Bears.

ABOUT THE EAGLES
• BC dropped its two ACC matches last week to Notre Dame at home and Louisville on the road
• The Eagles took five of the six singles matches to a third set in Louisville, but Sean Mullins claimed the only point in the No. 6 slot
• Boston College is 1-4 in the spring and 0-3 in conference play
• BC will look to snap a four-match losing skid after winnings its spring opener at Charlotte
SCOUTING MERRIMACK
• Last year's match against Merrimack resulted in a clean 7-0 sweep for the Eagles
• Max Mendelsohn, Alexander Chieffalo, Santiago Montufar and Nicolas deQuesada all won in singles
• The Warriors are 1-2 overall but on a two-game losing steak
• MC fell 5-2 to Boston University last time out on Jan. 31 in Haverhill

• Brown is undefeated at 6-0 overall in its spring season
• The Bears will compete in the ECAC Championships this weekend at Cornell
• Last year, Jacob Walker and Ching Lam were ranked No. 74 in doubles during the spring
• Brown beat BC 5-2 at home last February despite Derek Austin winning in singles and doubles
