
BC Compete at BU’s Scarlet & White Invitational

BOSTON – The Boston College men's track and field competed on Saturday, Feb. 1 in the Scarlet & White Invitational at BU's Track and Tennis Center.
Sean Sullivan was BC's top runner, placing sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:15.63. He was just trailed by Ben Ruffing, who ran an 8:20.20 in the event. Sullivan and Ruffing were the second- and fourth-place finishers in the event, respectively. John Seiberlich led the third heat in the 3000m with a time of 8:29.39 and dropped 26 seconds from his previous event personal best.
Marcus Manson ran a season-best in the 400m with a time of 49.25. Erik Linden set a new PR, in the 1000m, running a time of 2:27.81.

The Eagles are back in two weeks for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 14-15 at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
