White Paces Eagles to Ninth Place Finish at ACC Championship

Senior runner earns All-ACC honors, finishing eighth overall
CARY, N.C. -- Boston College finished ninth at the 2020 ACC Cross Country Championship, held at the WakeMed Soccer Complex in Cary, N.C.
Lauren White earned All-ACC honors, placing eighth overall. White clocked 20:28.3 for the six-kilometer course. It ties for the best finish at the ACC Championship for a BC runner since 2015, when Isabelle Kennedy also crossed the finish line in eighth place.
Anna Oeser was the Eagles' second finishing, placing 28th overall. She crossed the finish line in 20:51.9. Miriam Ruoff (71st, 21:43.6), Caroline McClelland (90th, 22:11.5), and Kylee Raftis (94th, 22:21.1) rounded out the Boston College scorers.
Sarah Flynn (98th, 22:30.5) and Ella Whitman (111st, 23:00.7) completed the top seven finishers for BC.
Kayla Smith (112th, 23:07.5), Katherine DeLoreto (120th, 23:38.6), and Katherine Stanwood (126th, 24:08.8) rounded out the finishers on the day for BC.
The Eagles compiled a team score of 261 points. NC State took the 2020 ACC team title with 47 points.
