CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team is heading back to BU for the Scarlet and White Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 1. The field events begin at 11 a.m. and the track events at 12:30 p.m.

What to Know
- The Eagles had a great showing in the women's 5000m at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Lauren White led the way with a first-place finish in 16:28.53. Then, Isabelle Kennedy and Fian Sullivan Sweeney finished in fourth and fifth, respectively, in times of 16:36.53 and 16:42.63. Anna Oeser then crossed the finish line in seventh place with a time of 16:49.23.
- White's time of 16:28.53 is the ninth-fastest indoor 5k in program history.
- Julia Lyons is coming off a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.65m (18-6.50)
- Paige Duca wrote her name in the record books with a sixth-place finish in the 1000m. She crossed the finish line in 2:45.24 for the second-fastest 1000m in program history.

The Eagles are off until Feb. 27, when they compete in South Bend, Indiana at the ACC Indoor Championships.
