BC is coming off a 1-0 victory over in-state rival Massachusetts on Tuesday. Senior Joe Kellett scored in the 48th minute on a penalty kick to win the game. It was his first game-winner since joining the Eagles in 2018. Sophomore goalkeeper Christian Garner pick up his first career win with three saves in the match.

Virginia Tech lost to (RV) Louisville on Friday, 2-1. The Hokies lone goal was scored by Kristo Strickler in the first half. The Cardinals scored two second half goals to improve to 3-1-2 and 1-0-1 in the ACC. Virginia Tech is now 5-2-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the ACC.

The Hokies only other loss was to North Carolina (3-1) on September 13 at home.
