Senior goes 8-under for the tournament; Eagles tie for third as a team

- Boston College finished in a tie for third place as a team at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate.
- The Eagles finished with a total score of 891 (298-287-306), tying with Delaware.
- BC's best round as a team was a 1-under par second round score of 287.
- North Carolina won the tournament (822), followed by host Missouri (857) in second place.
- Christian Cavaliere (208) finished in third place overall, going 8-under for the three round tournament. The senior got off to a nice start, carding a pair of 69's through the first and second rounds of play. Cavaliere finished Monday's third and final round with a 2-under 70. Â
- Kevin Paek tied for 27th place (225). His best round of the tournament came during the second round, when he carded a 1-over par 73. Paek shot 76 during the opening and final 18 holes of competition on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
- Newcomer Nick Cummings tied for 33rd place (226). The freshman fired a low-round of 71 (-1) during the second round. He opened play with a score of 77 and closed out his first collegiate tournament with a final round 78.
- Mac Webster finished in 50th place (232). After an opening round 76 and a second round 74 - his low score of the weekend - the sophomore recorded an 82 during Monday's final 18 holes of action.
- Brandon Kewalramani tied for 66th place (239). He opened with a first round 78 and improved during the second round with a score of 75. Kewalramani finished with a third round score of 86.
- The Eagles had four golfers competing as individuals, led by Patrick Wu. The junior transfer placed 16th overall (222) in his first tournament for BC. Wu opened with a 75 and closed out Sunday's action with a second round 74. He posted his best score of the tournament on Monday - a 1-over par 73.
- Ryan Kinkead tied for 41st place (230). He shot a 78 in the first round and closed out Sunday strong, carding a 1-over 73 during the second round of play. He closed with a final round 79.
- Newcomer Muzzy Donohue tied for 51st place (233). He opened the tournament with a first round score of 75, following that with an 81 during the afternoon round. Donohue finished up his first collegiate tournament with a final round 77.
- Brendan Ridge placed 86th (252). He opened play with an 85, improving by five strokes in the afternoon session with a score of 80. On Monday, he carded a final round score of 87.
- The Eagles return to action on Sept. 16-17 at the VCU Invitational in Richmond, Va.
