- Boston College finished in ninth place at the VCU Invitational.
- The Eagles shot 284 in both the first and second rounds on Monday before finishing with a 299 on Tuesday. BC finished 3-over par as a team (867).
- ODU won the tournament (836), edging Virginia Tech (837), James Madison (840), and Maryland (841).
- Christian Cavaliere (208) posted his second top-five finish in as many starts, as he tied for fifth at the VCU Invitational. Cavaliere finished at 8-under par after a third round 68, five shots off the lead. The senior fired his low round of the season - and the third lowest round of the tournament field - with a bogey-free second round 66 (-6). He posted a score of 74 during the first round. Cavaliere carded 14 birdies on the weekend.
- Nick Cummings tied for 11th place (211), as the freshman finished at 5-under par for the tournament. Cummings carded an opening round 69 (-3) before posting back-to-back scores of 71 (-1) during the second and third rounds. Cummings led the field with 43 total pars through the 54 holes of play.
- Patrick Wu tied for 48th place (221) at 1-under par. Wu opened with an even-par 72 during the opening round and was 1-under (71) during the second round. He finished the tournament with a final round 78. Wu was one of 15 golfers in the field to record an eagle - finding the hole in 3 on the par 5 1st hole in the opening round.
- Kevin Paek tied for 68th place (230). His best round of the tournament came during the opening round, when he carded a 1-under par 71. The junior was nearly flawless during the opening round, posting only one bogey to two birdies and 15 pars. Paek shot 76 during the second round and finished with an 83 during Tuesday's final 18 holes of competition. - Brandon Kewalramani also tied for 68th place (230). He opened with an even-par 72 during the first round and carded a second round score of 76. Kewalramani carded five total birdies through his first 36 holes of play. He finished the tournament with a final round 82.
- Ryan Kinkead competed as an individual and tied for 56th place (225). He improved in each of his three rounds of play at the VCU Invitational. Kinkead shot a 76 in the first round, posted a second round score of 75, before closing out with a 2-over 74 during Tuesday's final round.
- ODU's Carter Morgan took individual honors, with a score of 203 (72-64-67).
- The Eagles return to action from Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at the Wildcat Invitational in Malvern, Pa.
