
Four Eagles Named NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The NFCA released its 2018-19 All-America Scholar-Athletes today, where four Eagles earned recognition. Seniors Allyson Moore and Kendra Friedt, along with sophomore CC Cook and freshman Britney Richardson were the four BC student-athletes awarded.

To be named an All-America Scholar-Athlete, a student must have above a 3.5 GPA.

Last season, Moore hit .287 with a .707 OPS, tallying eight doubles and 18 RBI on 35 hits. Anderson made an impact on the base paths, scoring six runs and stealing two bases on the year in 34 games.

On the mount, Friedt appeared in 17 games for the Eagles on the bump, ending the year with a 2-2 record and a 6.81 ERA in 24.1 innings pitched. Cook made 20 appearances, pitching 37 innings with an 8.70 ERA.
