BC vs. Wake Forest Kicks Off at 3:30 on Parents’ Weekend

Eagles host Demon Deacons September 28 on ACC Network at Alumni Stadium.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College's home football game against Wake Forest during Parents' Weekend on the Heights will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. The game will be aired nationally on ACC Network.

The ACC Atlantic Division rivals have each earned a win over a conference opponent with the Eagles having defeated the Coastal Division's Virginia Tech in week one and the Demon Deacons besting the Coastal's North Carolina in a rare non-conference tilt on Friday night.

Last season, BC went down to Winston-Salem and escaped with a 41-34 win in front of a national television audience on ESPN. Quarterback Anthony Brown was named ACC Quarterback of the Week after throwing for a career-high 304 yards and five touchdowns; becoming the first BC quarterback since Matt Ryan (2007) to pass for 300 yards and five scores and first to do so without an interception since Doug Flutie (1984).

Boston College leads the all-time series against Wake Forest, 14-10-2. The Eagles are 4-2 against the Demon Deacons under head coach Steve Addazio.

This week, BC is in action at Rutgers on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Eagles and Scarlet Knights kickoff at noon on Big Ten Network and can be heard locally on 93.7 WEEI beginning with the network pregame show at 11:30 a.m.
