
Trip to Princeton on Deck for BC on Sunday Night

The Eagles will face the first road test of the season in the Tigers.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After opening up the 2019 season with a three-game home stand, the Boston College women's soccer team will face its first road test of the season on Sunday night in the form of the two-time defending Ivy League champion Princeton Tigers.
The game, which is set to kick off at 7 p.m., will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

• The Tigers are coming off a season-opening 1-0 win over the Saint Joseph's Hawks ... rookie Grace Sherman scored in the seventh minute while Natalie Grossi made four saves for the shutout.
• Two-time defending Ivy League champion Princeton was tabbed as the Ivy League preseason favorite after receiving 10 of the 16 first-place votes ... the Tigers won the last four games of the 2018 Ivy League slate to split the title with Penn and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament (winning the tie-break over Penn).

ABOUT HEAD COACH JASON LOWE
• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.Â
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA from Wake Forest in 2002.
