• Move Boston College to 3-0 on the year.
• Bump the Eagles to 22-5-1 all-time in games against Boston University and 19-5-1 in contests in which both schools had varsity programs.
• Give BC its fifth consecutive win in the series against BU.
ABOUT BOSTON UNIVERSITY
• BU is coming off of a two-game trip to Colorado last week.
• The Terriers opened up the 2019 season with a 0-0 overtime match at Denver before falling 2-0 to Colorado on Sunday.
• Morgan Messner earned the shutout for BU against Denver while Amanda Fay made six saves in the loss to the Buffs.
• BU was tabbed as the Patriot League preseason favorite for the sixth time in seven seasons as a member of the league ... Anna Heilferty was named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.
• Now in her 25th season as the head coach at BU, Nancy Feldman has guided the Terriers to 14 NCAA tournaments, 13 regular season conference titles and 13 conference tournament titles ... last year, she became the 20th NCAA women's soccer coach to record 400 career wins.

• Boston College holds a record of 21-5-1 all-time in games against Boston University.
• The Eagles and Terriers have met 24 times as varsity clubs, with BC going 18-5-1 in those contests (since 1995).
LAST TIME OUT
• Boston College moved to 2-0 on the 2019 season with a 4-1 win over UMass Lowell on Sunday night in Newton.
• For the second straight game, BC opened the scoring in the fifth minute when senior Olivia Vaughn scored her first of two goals in the game as part of her fifth career brace.
• Freshman Sam Smith put home the eventual game-winner just minutes later, with Vaughn assisting on the play, before Vaughn and Alison Heckman each found the back of the net again before the end of the first half.
• Maddie Murphy earned her first career win in her first career start with one save.

ABOUT HEAD COACH JASON LOWE
• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA from Wake Forest in 2002.
2019 CAPTAINS
• The Eagles will be led by the trio of Gaby Carreiro, Erin Convery and Kayla Jennings in 2019.
• Carreiro and Jennings are now in their second year as captains after first receiving an armband in 2018 ... Convery is a first-year captain.
VAUGHN COMING OFF CAREER YEAR
• Senior forward Olivia Vaughn is BC's active scoring leader with 49 points on 22 goals and five assists.
• Vaughn recorded a career-high 21 points on a career-best 10 goals and one assist ... she also recorded a career-high 65 shots.
• She tallied a career-high two assists as a sophomore in 2017.
• The Montclair, N.J. native has played in all 61 of BC's contests since arriving on the Heights.
