New home for the show will be Donohue's Bar and Grill in Watertown
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Football Radio Show with coach Steve Addazio returns Monday, August 26 at a new location for the 2019 season at Donohue's Bar and Grill in Watertown. The weekly show is from 7-8 p.m. and airs live on WEEI 850 AM or online at TuneIn.com.
Â
The voice of the Eagles, Jon Meterparel, returns as the host along with BC Learfield IMG Sports Network analyst and former BC standout Pete Cronan. The show will air every Monday prior to a game at Donohue's Bar and Grill except for Labor Day week when there will not be a show.
Boston College returns 11 starters from last season's 7-5 squad that finished 4-4 in the ACC. The offense features the bulk of the returning firepower as six starters return, including the team's leading running back (AJ Dillon), quarterback (Anthony Brown) and No. 1 wide receiver (Kobay White).
Â
The 2018 regular season featured a return to the national rankings for the first time since 2008 and the Eagles appeared in the College Football Playoff Top 25 for the first time in school history. Boston College appeared in the AP Top 25 poll four times in the 2018 season, the most appearances in the national rankings for BC since 2007.
Â
National excitement surrounding the Eagles was rampant in 2018 as a school-record 13 players garnered All-ACC honors and ESPN's College GameDay built by the Home Depot returned to the Heights for the matchup between the #22 Eagles and #2 Clemson.
Â
For the second time under head coach Steve Addazio, the Boston College football team opens the season against an ACC opponent as Virginia Tech visits to kickoff the 2019 season on Saturday, August 31. ACC Network will televise the game while the BC Learfield IMG Sports Network has radio coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. on WEEI 93.7 FM.

Season tickets are now available by visiting BCEagles.com or calling 617-552-4622 (GOBC).
