Trio of Eagles Selected for NCAA East Prelims

Duca (1,500), Sinkewicz (javelin), Delanis (10,000m) set to compete in Jacksonville
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Three student-athletes - Paige Duca, Emeline Delanis, and Amanda Sinkewicz - have been selected to compete in the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Championship, held May 23-25 at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla.Â
Duca is among the field of 48 for the 1,500m run, Delanis will race in the 10,000m, while Sinkewicz will compete in the javelin.
All three Eagles will begin competition on Thursday, May 23, as the opening round of the 1,500m and javelin and finals of the 10,000m will be contested. The following day, the javelin finals will be held. Â
The top 12 in each individual event advance to the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship, which will be held from June 5-8 in Austin, Texas.
