Four BC student-athletes earn victories on the weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College's women's track & field team competed on Saturday at the Skyhawk Invitational, held at Stonehill College.
The Eagles finished third overall, with 125 team points. Rhode Island won the meet (151.50), followed by Holy Cross (128.50).
Four BC student-athletes won their respective events. Amanda Sinkewicz took the javelin throw, with a mark of 42.30m - 138'9". The Eagles swept through the distance events, as Katherine DeLoreto won the 1,500m in 4:42.31, Anna Flynn captured the 3,000m in 10:22.78, while Mary Kate Vaughn finished first in the 5,000m in 18:01.36.
