BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College softball team suffered a 6-0 loss to Holy Cross, 6-0, at the Harrington Athletics Village on Tuesday in a non-conference game.

Boston College is now 15-29 on the season, while Holy Cross improved to 10-30.

BC senior Lexi DiEmmanuele had two hits and three stolen bases. Senior Carly Severini had a single in the game.

Holy Cross scored three unearned runs in the third inning behind a two-run double from Erin Bengston. The Crusaders tacked on three more runs in the fourth inning as Taylor Wahler (4-for-4, 3 RBI) had a single to right that scored two.

Alexadra Held earned her fourth win of the season. She went the distance, scattered three hits, struck out nine and walked two.

UP NEXT
- The two teams will meet tomorrow in Worcester at 5 p.m.
- BC was originally scheduled to host Central Connecticut at 4. That game was canceled, so BC and Holy Cross agreed on a second game this week.
- The Eagles will host Virginia Tech this weekend in a three-game ACC series at the Harrington Athletics Village. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m.
