CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — A trio of Boston College women's track & field student-athletes competed at the rain-shortened Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va, Due to poor weather, the meet was condensed into one day of competition on Saturday.

Paige Duca clocked a 4:23.90 in the invitational section of the 1,500m. Gianna Bender ran 2:11.26 in the 800m invitational field, while Emeline Delanis competed in the invitational 5,000m run, crossing the line in 16:39.32.

Jessica Creedon competed in the heptathlon, placing sixth overall with a total of 4,752 points. She placed third in the 14-person field in the high jump, clearing 1.65m (5'5") and clocked 2:22.82 in the 800m, good for fourth place.
