Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game Set for Saturday

Full day of events begin at 9:30 a.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College football team will close out spring practice with the annual Jay McGillis Memorial spring game on Saturday, April 6. Kickoff is scheduled for noon with live coverage on ACC Network Extra via the ESPN app or WatchESPN.com with Jon Meterparel and Pete Cronan on the call.

The day begins at 9:30 a.m. with a youth clinic on the field at Alumni Stadium. Children 12 and younger can check-in at Gate E of Alumni Stadium for the one-hour clinic beginning at 9 a.m. The children will be put through a variety of football drills at different stations during the 60-minute event.

BC will also host a Fan Fest beginning at 9:30 a.m. outside Gate E on the plaza prior to the spring game. The fan fest includes live music with a DJ, giveaways, face painters and inflatables along with fan photographs.

Boston College will then finish out its 15th and final practice of the spring with the annual Jay McGillis Memorial spring game. The BC coaching staff will divide the roster into two teams – the Maroon and the Gold – as the Eagles wrap up spring football.

Following the conclusion of the game, fans are welcome to come onto the field for autographs with the student-athletes.
