Eagles Drop Regular Season Finale at home to N.C. State

Three student-athletes and four senior managers honored prior to the game
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Three NC State players scored double-figures as the visiting Wolfpack earned a 73-47 victory at Boston College Saturday afternoon inside Conte Forum. Boston College finishes the regular season 14-16 overall ad 5-13 in the ACC while NC State improved to 21-10 on the season and 9-9 in conference play.
BC will be the No. 11 seed in next week's ACC Tournament in Charlotte and will face No. 14 seed Pitt Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Wolfpack led 41-24 at halftime as seven of their eight players who saw the court scored. Braxton Beverly hit 3-of-6 from downtown to lead the way with nine points. The Wolfpack controlled the boards in the first half (24-15) and held a 18-12 scoring advantage in the paint.
Ky Bowman led BC with nine first-half points while Nik Popovic added eight. The Eagles struggled shooting in the opening 20 minutes, hitting just 29.6 percent of their field goals.
NC State outscored the Eagles 32-23 in the second half. C.J. Bryce led NC State with 14 points while Torin Dorn added 12 and Devon Daniels scored 10.
Bowman was the only Eagle in double-figures with 14.
