Eagles Host No. 15 Florida State Before Trip to No. 37 Georgia Tech

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College hosts 15th-ranked Florida State at the Flynn Recreation Complex on Friday (March 22) at 1 p.m. before traveling to face No. 37 Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Sunday (March 24) at 12 p.m. The Eagles won back-to-back matches at home last weekend, improving to 11-5 (2-5 ACC).

SCOUTING FLORIDA STATE
The Seminoles (13-3, 5-1 ACC) won a pair of conference matches last weekend, edging Georgia Tech 4-3 on the road before beating Notre Dame 6-1 in Tallahassee. Junior Carla Touly is 26th in the most recent ITA singles rankings. FSU is 14-2 all-time in the series against Boston College, winning 5-2 over the Eagles last season on its home court.

SCOUTING GEORGIA TECH
The Yellow Jackets enter the weekend at 6-8 overall and 3-4 in ACC play. Georgia Tech lost 6-1 at Miami last Sunday and will host Virginia Tech on Friday before the Eagles fly south. Kenya Jones is the 12th-ranked player in the nation in singles, while Jones and Jeanette Lin are 62nd in doubles. BC fell 6-1 to the Yellow Jackets in Chestnut Hill last year.
