
Eagles Sweep Binghamton at Home for 10th Victory

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women's tennis snapped a five-match losing skid on Saturday by dominating Binghamton with a 7-0 non-league victory at the Flynn Recreation Complex. The Eagles didn't lose a single set in picking up their 10th win of the season, while the Bearcats dropped to 1-16.

Laura Lopez and Micayla Casella each earned 6-0, 6-0 victories in singles from the No. 3 and 6 slots, while Reagan Posorske dropped only a single game in her win at No. 5. Jackie Urbinati played in No. 1 singles and picked up a 6-1, 6-2 triumph and Loren Haukova lost only two games in her victory at No. 4. Elene Tsokilauri collected BC's sixth straight set win of the day by a final score of 6-3, 6-2.

Boston College began the match by winning the doubles point courtesy of a 6-0 victory from Lopez and Casella, who were perfect on the afternoon, followed by a 6-4 performance from Haukova and Posorske.

The Eagles were able to rest Yufei Long, Kylie Wilcox, and Natasha Irani ahead of Sunday's ACC clash with Virginia Tech on the Heights, which begins at 11 a.m.
