Eagles Set for Boston Winter Open

The swim and dive team returns to BU for the final meet of the regular season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College swim and dive team returns to action for the two-day Boston Winter Open this weekend, hosted by Boston University. The Eagles will take on both the Terriers and the Northeastern Huskies over the weekend.
The Eagles are coming off of their first loss of 2019, as they were bested by the Terriers in a dual-meet at the end of January. Three program records were set over the dual-meet, as Maura Grimes (100-yard backstroke, 55.29) and Victoria Lin (100-yard breaststroke, 55.29) set individual records and the team of Kristina Fecarotta, Ashleigh Scott, Maura Grimes and Ali Kea tied the 400-yard freestyle relay record (3:26.24).
The Boston Winter Open marks the final meet of the regular season for the Eagles, as the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship begins on Feb. 20.
