Two-Game Road Swing Begins at N.C. State on Wednesday

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. N.C. STATE - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 23rd meeting between the two schools.
- BC and N.C. State are tied at 11-11 in the all-time series.
- In ACC regular season play, the Eagles are 7-11 vs. N.C. State.
- Last year, the Wolfpack won, 82-66, on Feb. 20 at PNC Arena.
- The Eagles won the last meeting, 91-87, in the ACC Tournament on March 7 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY
- Boston College is 80-151 in 13 seasons in the ACC.
- The Eagles finished with a 7-11 record in ACC play last year - the most conference wins since the 2012-13 season.
- BC's best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
- Boston College tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).
KY BOWMAN:Â THE NATION'S MOST DYNAMIC GUARD
- Ky Bowman is one the only player in the country averaging at least: 19.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.  Â
- It is the most well-rounded stat line in 26 years of Division I basketball.
- In 1992-93, Penny Hardaway of Memphis posted at least that stat line (21.0 ppg/8.5 rpg/6.4 apg/2.5 spg/1.2 bpg).
- Bowman is one of five players at the power conference-level to lead his team in scoring, rebounds, and assists. The others: Ethan Happ (Wisconsin), Tres Tinkle (Oregon State), Jarrett Culver (Texas Tech)and Alpha Diallo (Providence).
- Bowman is the only player nationally at 6-1 or shorter to average 7.8 rebounds.
- Last year, Bowman was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
- Since the 1990-91 season, only 10 players have registered at least those season averages.
- One of those players was National Player of the Year - Denzel Valentine of Michigan State in 2016.
- Three were top three NBA Draft picks: Ben Simmons, LSU (#1, 2016); Evan Turner, Ohio State (#2, 2010); and Hardaway, Memphis (#3, 1993).
- Five were first round NBA Draft picks: Simmons; Turner; Hardaway; Valentine (#14, 2016); Bob Sura, FSU (#17, 1995).
- Seven were named their conference's Player of the Year: Valentine (2015-16); Hardaway (1991-92); Turner (2009-10); Trenton Hassell, Austin Peay (1999-2000); Ricky Minard, Morehead State (2002-03); T.J. Cline, Richmond (2016-17); Patrick Cole N.C. Central (2016-17).
- Nine of the 10 earned Associated Press All-American honors.

- Boston College is 9-8 all-time and 1-2 in ACC play in games played on the February 20 calendar date.
- On Feb. 20, 2010, BC earned a 71-67 win over North Carolina. Last year, the Eagles fell at PNC Arena to N.C. State, 82-66.

- For the first time since joining the ACC, BC has held its last two conference opponents under 60 points on the scoreboard.
- This past week, the Eagles held Pittsburgh (Feb. 12) and Miami (Feb. 17) to 57 points.
- The last time Boston College held consecutive conference opponents under 60 points came in 2005.
TIME TO START A NEW STREAKÂ Â Â
- Ky Bowman's 32-game double-digit scoring streak ended on Feb. 17 in the win over Miami.
- Bowman - coming off of a 102 degree fever the night before and playing with flu-like symptoms - scored six points vs. the Canes.
- However, the junior point guard did tally eight rebounds and a season-high eight assists in 39 minutes.
- The 32-game span lasted an entire calendar year (Feb. 17, 2018-Feb. 17, 2019).
- During the span, Bowman averaged 20.2 points, shot 43.3% (218-503) from the floor and 38.2% (76-199) from the perimeter.
- He also averaged 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over the 32 games.
- Bowman's 32 straight games with at least 10 points was tops in the ACC. Â
- Duke's duo of Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett take over the lead, at 25.
JORDAN CHATMAN BECOMES 44TH MEMBER OF BOSTON COLLEGE'S 1,000 POINT CLUB
- With his 3FG with 14:48 to play vs. Pitt on Feb. 17, Jordan Chatman became the 44th member of BC's 1,000 point club.
- He entered the game needing 15 points to reach the statistical milestone.
- Chatman reached 1,000 career points in 87 games in a BC uniform.
- Earlier in the season - Jan. 26 at Wake Forest - Chatman reached the 1,000 point mark for his collegiate career.
- He reached that milestone 115 total games into his career between BYU and Boston College, from 2015-present.
ESSE QUAM VIDERI (To Be, Rather Than to Seem)
- Ky Bowman - a Havelock, North Carolina native - enjoys playing games against teams from his home state.
- Bowman is averaging 18.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in 13 games vs. Duke, UNC, NC State, and Wake Forest.
- Two of his seven career 30+ point performances have come versus Carolina (33, 1/21/17) and Duke (30, 12/9/17).
- He has scored 20 or more in six of the 13 games against a North Carolina-based opponent.
- In the six games played in the state of North Carolina, he is averaging 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per outing.
- Bowman is averaging 21.3 points per game in three career outings vs. N.C. State. Â
- His highest scoring mark versus an N.C. based opponent is UNC (27.0 ppg), followed by N.C. State, Duke (20.0), and Wake (12.8)

- Boston College is the only team in the country with three players averaging 13.6 points per game or better.
- The Eagles' scoring leaders are: Ky Bowman (19.5 ppg), Wynston Tabbs (13.9), Jordan Chatman (13.8), and Nik Popovic (13.6).
BOSTON COLLEGE EXCLUSIVE - REBOUNDING
- Boston College is one of two teams in the country with three players averaging 7.5 rebounds per game or better.
- The Eagles' rebounding leaders are: Ky Bowman (7.8 rpg), Steffon Mitchell (7.7), and Nik Popovic (7.5).
- Texas Southern is the other school.
BOSTON COLLEGE EXCLUSIVE - KY BOWMAN
- Ky Bowman is one of two players in BC history to accumulate 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, 100 steals, and 25 blocks.
- The other is Jared Dudley, who from 2003-07, tallied 2,071 points, 936 boards, 395 assists, 176 steals, and 37 blocks.
- Both players reached those career statistical totals as juniors. Dudley was at 1500/688/305/134 at the conclusion of his third year.
- Bowman is one of only eight players in ACC history to reach his career totals in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
- Danny Ferry (Duke), Bob Sura (Florida State), Gene Banks (Duke), Julius Hodge (NC State), Grant Hill (Duke), Walter Davis (UNC), and Mike O'Koren (UNC) are the others.
- When Wynston Tabbs is in the Boston College lineup, the Eagles were 10-5 overall - and 1-1 in ACC play.
- Over the eight games he has missed, BC is 3-6 - all in ACC play.
- In the 15 games where Tabbs is in the lineup, Ky Bowman is averaging 21.8 points per game, connecting on 46.2% of his field goals and close to 41.0% from beyond the arc. .
- In the eight games that Tabbs has missed, Bowman is scoring 6.2 points per game less - 15.6 ppg - while shooting 9.2 percent worse from the floor (37.0) and 8.9 worse from 3-point land (32.1%).
DOUBLE-DOUBLE, ANIMAL STYLE
- Ky Bowman (seven) and Nik Popovic (seven) have combined for 14 double-doubles in points and rebounds this season.
- Their combined 14 double-doubles are the most by a pair of BC teammates in a single-season since 2006-07.
- In 2006-07, Jared Dudley (10) and Sean Williams (4) combined for a total of 14 double-doubles.
- In 2005-06, Dudley (4) and Craig Smith (15) had 19 double-doubles. In 2004-05, Dudley (7) and Smith (8) combined for 15.
DOUBLE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
- Nik Popovic and Ky Bowman have each registered double-doubles in the same game on four occasions.
- On Jan. 12 at Notre Dame, Bowman had 24 points and 16 rebounds while Popovic tallied 15 points and 10 boards.
- Versus Hartford, Bowman (44 pts/10 reb) and Popovic (13 pts/10 reb) each recorded a double-double.
- Against Columbia, Popovic and Bowman became the first BC pair to tally a double-double in the same game in 12 years.
- Popovic registered career-highs in points (22) and rebounds (14), while Bowman added 24 points and 10 boards.
- In BC's next game vs. Fairfield, Bowman had 19 points and 12 boards, while Popovic had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
- Entering this season, the last time two BC players had a double-double in the same game happened on Dec. 28, 2006.
- Sean Marshall (30 pts/10 reb) and Sean Williams (19 pts/10 reb) had double-doubles for BC vs. Duquesne.
