Bill Curley to have his jersey retired at halftime; 1994 Elite Eight team honored
Bill Curley '94 will become the seventh Boston College men's basketball player to have his jersey retired and raised to the rafters of Conte Forum at halftime of Sunday night's game vs. Miami. Additionally, Curley and his teammates from the 1993-94 NCAA Elite Eight squad will be honored in-game.

- Curley was a 1994 NABC All-American and two-time All-Big East First Team selection.
- He finished his career with 2,102 points and 996 rebounds – fourth-best in BC history in both statistical categories.
- The Duxbury, Mass. native is one of only seven players in program history to score better than 2,000 points in his career.
- The 1991 Big East Rookie of the Year, Curley ranks fourth all-time in career FG%, connecting on 56.5% of his shot attempts.
- Curley was a three-year team captain and started all but three of his 126 games, averaging 16.7 points and 7.9 rebounds.
- He was named the 1993-94 Eagle of the Year and was inducted into the Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
- A first round draft pick of the San Antonio Spurs in the 1994 NBA Draft, he went on to play five seasons in the NBA.
- In 1993-94, Curley and his Eagles teammates embarked on one of the most memorable seasons in program history.
- Under head coach Jim O'Brien, Boston College finished with a 23-11 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Big East play.
- Boston College spent 13 weeks on the Associated Press top 25 poll, reaching as high as No. 18.
- An at-large bid to the 1994 NCAA Tournament, BC was the No. 9 seed in the East region.
- After beating Washington State, 67-64, in the first round, before facing the No. 1 overall seed - North Carolina - in round two.
- BC made 12 3-pointers and Curley scored 10 of the final 11 points in the 75-72 win over the defending national champs.
- In the Sweet 16 round in Miami, Fla., BC took down No. 5 seed Indiana, 77-68, before falling in the East Regional championship game to third-seeded Florida, 74-66.
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. MIAMI - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 50th meeting between the two schools.
- Miami holds a slight 25-24 lead in the all-time series.
- In ACC play, the Eagles are 9-16 versus the Hurricanes.
- Last season, the two teams split their regular season series, with the home team winning each matchup.

- Boston College is 80-151 in 13 seasons in the ACC.
- The Eagles finished with a 7-11 record in ACC play last year - the most conference wins since the 2012-13 season.
- BC's' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
- Boston College tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).

KY BOWMAN: THE NATION'S MOST DYNAMIC GUARD
- Ky Bowman is one the only player in the country averaging at least: 20.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
- It is the most well-rounded stat line in 26 years of Division I basketball.
- Additionally, Bowman is one of five players at the basketball power conference-level to lead his team in scoring, rebounds, and assists. The others: Ethan Happ (Wisconsin), Tres Tinkle (Oregon State), Jarrett Culver (Texas Tech)and Alpha Diallo (Providence).
- In 1992-93, Penny Hardaway of Memphis posted at least that stat line (21.0 ppg/8.5 rpg/6.4 apg/2.5 spg/1.2 bpg).
- Bowman is the only player nationally at 6-1 or shorter to average 7.8 rebounds.
- Last year, Bowman was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
- Since the 1990-91 season, only 10 players have registered at least those season averages.
- One of those players was National Player of the Year - Denzel Valentine of Michigan State in 2016.
- Three were top three NBA Draft picks: Ben Simmons, LSU (#1, 2016); Evan Turner, Ohio State (#2, 2010); and Hardaway, Memphis (#3, 1993).
- Five were first round NBA Draft picks: Simmons; Turner; Hardaway; Valentine (#14, 2016); Bob Sura, FSU (#17, 1995).

- Ky Bowman is one of three players in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in scoring and rebounding - Zion Williamson (Duke), Jordan Nwora (Louisville).
- Nik Popovic is one of six ACC players to rank among the top 25 in the league in scoring and rebounding, and among the top 10 in FG percentage. The others: Williamson, John Mooney (Notre Dame), Cameron Johnson (UNC), Torin Dorn (NC State), and Jordan Nwora (Louisville).
- Two Eagles rank among the top 10 in FT% in the ACC: Ky Bowman sixth (91-113, 80.5%) and Jordan Chatman is fourth (62-77, 80.5%).
- Boston College is also the only ACC team to have three players averaging 7.0 rebounds per game (Mitchell/Bowman/Popovic).
BOSTON COLLEGE EXCLUSIVE
- Ky Bowman is one of two players in BC history to accumulate 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, and 100 steals.
- The other is Jared Dudley, who from 2003-07, tallied 2,071 points, 936 boards, 395 assists, and 176 steals in his four year career.
- Both players reached those career statistical totals as juniors. Dudley was at 1500/688/305/134 at the conclusion of his third year.
- Bowman is one of only 18 players in ACC history to reach those career totals.
NOT THROWING AWAY HIS SHOT
- Jared Hamilton is averaging 8.6 points per game over his last five outings, connecting on 18-of-35 shots (51.4%).
- Against Notre Dame, he earned his second start of the season and scored a season-high 17 points to go with three assists.
- He added 12 points off the bench against Syracuse, while also notching two steals in 29 minutes.
- Last time out vs. Pittsburgh, Hamilton scored six of his eight points during a key second half run.
- A transfer from Georgia Southern, Hamilton arrived at the Heights during the 2018 spring semester.
WITH OR WITHOUT YOU - TABBS AND BOWMAN
- When Wynston Tabbs is in the Boston College lineup, the Eagles were 10-5 overall - and 1-1 in ACC play.
- Over the eight games he has missed, BC is 2-6 - all in ACC play.
- In the 15 games where Tabbs is in the lineup, Ky Bowman is averaging 21.8 points per game, connecting on 46.2% of his field goals and close to 41.0% from beyond the arc. .
- In the eight games that Tabbs has missed, Bowman is scoring 5.0 points per game less - 16.8 ppg - while shooting eight percent worse from the floor and 3-point land.

- Jordan Chatman reached the 1,000 point mark for his collegiate career on Jan. 26 at Wake Forest.
- Chatman reached the milestone through 115 total games played between BYU and Boston College from 2015-present.
- The senior guard has scored 985 points in 86 games at Boston College, from 2016-present.
- He is 15 points away from becoming the 44th member of Boston College's 1,000 point club.
