Boston College Fencing Sweeps NFC Yearly Honors
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Northeast Fencing Conference released its 2019 team champions and individual all stars awards.

Boston College swept the team awards, being named the Combined 6-Weapon Team Champion, the Men's 3-Weapon Team Champion, and the Women's 3-Weapon Team Champion by the Conference.

Thomas Junseo Park was named NFC men's fencer of the year. This season, the freshman is 20-1 in men's epee during NFC competition, giving him a 95.24 win percentage. Park also received men's first team epee honors.

Men's first team foil honors were given to Ari Lichy, and Cameron Mayer. Lichy is 20-3 on the season in NFC competition, while Mayer is 19-4. Philip Acinapuro and Justin Herman receive second team honors in foil. Acinapuro is 17-4, while Herman is 18-5. Second team sabre honors were given to Brend Meng, and Ben Slavin. Meng is 17-4 on the season in the NFC, while Slavin is 24-6.

Women's first team epee honors were given to Laura Boden. Boden has competed to a 28-5 record in the NFC. Grabrielle Chau was given first team sabre honors. Chau is 32-3 in NFC bouts. Jaime Bang was named to the women's epee second team. Bang has compiled a record of 22-6 in NFC bouts this season. Gillian Lawlor was named to the women's second team sabre. Lawlor is 29-5 this season competing in the NFC.
The team is back in competition tomorrow, at the annual Beanpot meet.
