Walker-Weinstein Announces 2020 Schedule

The upcoming lacrosse slate features nine chances to see the Eagles at home
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's lacrosse team has released its 2020 schedule, as announced by head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein on Wednesday. The slate features 16 regular season matchups with nine set to be played at the Newton Campus Fields. All dates and times are subject to change.
The Eagles begin the 2020 campaign with two local rivals, first visiting Massachusetts on Feb. 8 in the season opener. The team then heads down Commonwealth Avenue to take on Boston University on Feb. 12.
The home slate begins with a Feb. 16 matchup with Vanderbilt, who the Eagles haven't seen since 2013. The first long road trip of the season brings the team to Los Angeles, Calif. for a Feb. 21 matchup with Southern California. The Eagles return home for one contest as they host Brown on Feb. 25 before beginning conference play.
March marks the start of ACC action, as the Eagles travel to South Bend, Ind. to take on Notre Dame on March 7. The team welcomes Hofstra to Newton on March 11 to mark the first meeting since 2012 before continuing conference play with Virginia Tech on March 14. The team takes on Dartmouth on March 18 for a midweek clash in Hanover.
The Eagles travel to take on Duke the following weekend for a March 21 matchup before welcoming North Carolina to the Heights on March 28. Yale visits Newton for a midweek matchup on April 1 before the team travels to take on Louisville on April 4 and Virginia on April 11. The regular season slate concludes with two home matches against Northwestern on April 15 and Syracuse on April 18.
The 2020 ACC Tournament is set for April 22-26 at the campus of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.Â
