New kids fare will be available in Conte Forum and all items will be $1.50. Clear Bag Policy:
Similar to football season, a clear bag policy will be in effect for all men's basketball games at Conte Forum. Approved bags for entrance to Conte Forum include a clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12"x12"x6", a one-gallon sized clear plastic bag, or a small clutch wristlet or handheld wallet.

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. DEPAUL - ALL-TIME SERIES

Today's marks the fourth all-time meeting between the two teams.
Boston College holds a 2-1 lead in the all-time series.
Last year, the Eagles earned a 65-62 comeback win in Chicago.
BC closed the game on a 10-2 run over the final 2:07 to seal the win.
Nik Popovic had 19 points and Wynston Tabbs added 15.
DePaul captured the first game (88-55) on Jan. 14, 1950 in Boston.
BC won, 82-75, over the Blue Demons on March 14, 1982 in Dallas.
It was a second round game in the NCAA Midwest Regional. John Bagley led BC with 26 points while Michael Adams added 21.

BOSTON COLLEGE VERSUS THE BIG EAST

Since 2005-06, Boston College is 8-6 versus Big East opponents.
BC was 1-1 versus Big East teams in 2018-19.
On Dec. 4, the Eagles lost, 100-95, in overtime to Providence.
From 1979-2005, BC went 181-221 in Big East conference play.
The Eagles were Big East Champions in 1997 and 2001.

BOSTON COLLEGE AT CONTE FORUM

Boston College is 320-180 all-time at the Silvio O. Conte Forum.
In ACC play, the Eagles are 57-65 in league games at Conte Forum.
BC is 3-1 at home this year. Last year, BC was 10-8 at home.
It marked the 18th time since the building opened in 1989-90 that BC won 10+ games at Conte Forum in a single-season.

N1K POPOVIC: BECOMES 45TH EAGLE TO SCORE 1,000 POINTS

With a second half FT vs. Eastern Washington, Nik Popovic became the 45th member of Boston College's 1,000 point club.
He is the fourth BC player in the last three seasons to reach the 1,000-point mark, joining Jerome Robinson, Ky Bowman, and Jordan Chatman.
Popovic reached the statistical milestone in his 98th career game. He is averaging 10.4 points per game in his career.

THE MONARCH OF #WINNINGPLAYS: MITCHELL DOES IT ALL

Steffon Mitchell leads BC in rebounding (9.4), blocks (1.8), and steals (2.2) per game, while ranking second in assists (4.2).
He is the only player nationally to log 9.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.8 blocked shots per game.
Mitchell has led the team in blocks in all four games, rebounding three times, and assists and steals twice.
Against High Point, Mitchell logged his seventh career double-double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
It was his highest scoring total and first double-double since Dec. 4, 2018 vs. Providence (10p/11r).
In the ACC, he ranks second in steals, third in rebounding, seventh blocks, 13th in assists, and third in assist/turnover.
In 136 minutes played through five games, Mitchell has committed only six turnovers.

Jay Heath has scored in double figures in four of his first five games - and ranks third on the squad in scoring (13.0 ppg)
Last time out vs. Eastern Washington - Heath scored a team-high 17 points, knocking down 5-of-7 from beyond the arc.
The last BC freshman to make five 3-pointers in a game: Ky Bowman (5) vs. Notre Dame on Feb. 14, 2017.
Heath had 18 points in the season-opening win over Wake Forest, 14 points in 23 minutes vs. High Point, and 10 vs. Belmont.
He ranks third among all ACC freshmen in scoring (13.0 ppg), second in FG% (48.1), and is tied for fourth in 3FG made (9).

ALLOW ME TO RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF

Graduate transfer Derryck Thornton has returned to the ACC to play his final season of eligibility.
He leads BC in scoring (16.2 ppg), assists (4.6 apg) and is second in steals (2.0 spg) through the first five contests of 2019-20.
Thornton began his career at Duke in 2015-16, averaging 7.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 36 games (20 starts).
The Los Angeles native transferred to USC, where he played two seasons for the Trojans from 2017-19.
Thornton averaged 6.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 57 games at USC, posting a 1.73:1 assist/turnover ratio.
Last season, the 6-3, 195 lb. point guard averaged 7.7 points, 2.8 boards, 4.3 assists, and a 2.2:1 assist/turnover ratio.

NOT THROWING AWAY HIS SHOT

Over his last three games, Jared Hamilton has connected on 12-of-18 shots from the floor - a 66.7% shooting percentage.
Last time out vs. Eastern Washington - Hamilton made 5-of-9 shots (1-3 3FG), scoring 12 points.
He also scored a dozen against High Point, making 5-of-6 attempts - including 2-of-2 from 3-point land.
He is shooting 50.0% for the season (16-32) and close to 42% (5-12) from beyond the arc.

CJ Felder has proven to be a solid scorer off the bench for Boston College through the first five games.
The 6-7 freshman forward is averaging 7.0 points in 19 minutes of action per game.
He is shooting close to 52% from the floor (2-5 3FG) - including 60% (12-20) over his last four outings.
He scored a season-best 10 points at USF and had nine points in the win over Eastern Washington.

STEFFON MITCHELL DOES IT ALL

Junior forward Steffon Mitchell has led Boston College in at least one statistical category (scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, blocked shots) in 60 of his 66 career games.
Mitchell has led BC in blocked shots in each of the first five games; rebounding three times, and has assists and steals twice.
The 6-7 forward is the ACC's active rebounding leader, averaging 8.2 rebounds per game for his 66-game career.
Last year, he ranked fifth overall in the league (7.9 rpg). As a freshman, he ranked seventh in the conference (8.3 rpg).
The Shakopee, Minn. native became the first true freshman in Boston College history to average better than 8.0 rpg.
A skilled passer from the post, he is averaging 2.4 assists per game as well as a 2.44:1 assist/turnover ratio in his career.
