CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College softball team adds four new Eagles as the 2019-20 initial signing period opened. The group come from four different states across the country and will be the first recruiting class under new head coach Amy Kvilhaug.
"Our staff put a major emphasis on recruiting versatile athletes who are self-motivated and super-competitive as we build the future of BC Softball," said Kvilhaug. "While many of the student-athletes we signed this year have been committed to BC for a very long time, we were able to assess each one in depth upon arrival and couldn't be more excited about the contributions we believe the class of 2020 will have to the success of the program. It will be nice to add a few lefty sticks and some speed to our lineup moving forward. All of signees have played at a very high travel ball level, come from a strong academic backgrounds, and bring on board great supportive families. We are very excited to welcome them to the Eagle softball program."
