Charlotte North Eligible for 2020

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Junior transfer Charlotte North has been cleared to compete for the 2020 season, as announced by women's lacrosse head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein on Monday. The Dallas, Texas native joined the Eagles after two years as the leading scorer at Duke University.

In her two years in Durham, North became the fastest player in Duke history to hit the 100-point mark, doing so in just 26 games. She led the team both as a freshman (59 goals, 64 points) and sophomore (82 goals, 105 points) en route to holding the third-best goals per game average in the country in her second year (4.32 gpg). She was a two-time All-ACC Second Team selection, as well as an IWLCA All-South Region Second Team and Tewaaraton Watch List selection as a sophomore. She earned All-ACC Academic Team and ACC Honor Roll recognition in both of her years as a Blue Devil.

North joins transfers Rachel Hall (Oregon) and Bridget Simmons (Albany) atop a 12-woman freshman class to round out the 2020 roster.
