No. 27 Eagles Head to Central Connecticut State Mini Meet

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 27 Boston College women's cross country team is heading to the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. for its final tune-up before the ACC Championships.

Last Time Out
Boston College came back to Chestnut Hill from Terre Haute, Indiana, where they competed against some of the nation's best runners at the Pre-Nationals Invitational. BC would end up finishing in ninth and ahead of two teams ranked higher than them entering the meet. Isabelle Kennedy and Lauren White led the way for BC, placing 30th and 34th, respectively.

Last Year at the CCSU Mini Meet
BC ran hard to a second-place finish at the meet, trailing only Providence. Lauren White led the Eagles with a time of 10:26.3 on the three-kilometer course. The Eagles would go on to score 78 points with the 11th, 12th, 14th, 19th and 22nd-place runners.

Boston College comes in at No. 27 in this week's USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll after last week's performance at Pre-Nats. Although the drop down one spot in the national poll, BC did move up from No. 3 to No. 2 in the USTFCCCA Northeast Regional ranking.
